We love to help you help your pets, and can be flexible to any of your pet care needs. We can offer services such as pet taxi, training support, emergency assistance, finding the right pet for you; the list goes on. If you'd like us to help you with any of the above, or something new, don't hesitate to ask! Please note that we are not professional pet trainers or groomers.

Discounts
- Pay for $100 or more worth of Standard Visits or Walks in advance and receive 10% off
- Refer a friend who goes on to book our service and receive your next visit or walk free (just make sure your friend tells us you referred them)
- If you are within the cities of Nedlands, Claremont, or Subiaco, you may be offered, at Critters' discretion, a discounted rate depending on the time of year and what you need
- Unless otherwise advised, advertised discounts may not apply to custom quotes

Additional Fees
- NONE for multiple pets (within reason), public holidays/weekends, administering medication, late bookings or for dealing with unforeseen circumstances such as picking up food or medication, emergency vet visits, or rescuing cats from ridiculous places (though we do require reimbursement of costs, such as vet fees, fuel, and shopping bills).
- Travel fees may apply if you are outside the area we typically service. Expect approximately $1 per kilometer beyond our area.

Pet Sitting

A Standard Visit includes feeding, fresh water, clean up/litter trays and cuddles as required for your pets, as well as administering medication if necessary. We can also do a brief security check of your house and any little chores needed to make your home look lived in and to maintain your property. We're happy to provide daily sms/email updates at your request, and you are welcome to contact us any time to see how your pets are going.

The Standard Visit will cover most suburban households without any additional charges, however if you have a very large or demanding menagerie, or substantial other chores such as heavy watering, it is worthwhile enquiring for a quote.

A Pop-In Visit is a brief visit suited to outdoor cats, birds, or other small and easy pets. It includes simple feeding and a water change, as well as a health check if your pets are around at the time. Your situation may suit alternating between Standard and Pop-In visits, and that is absolutely fine.

A short walk is recommended daily for most dogs. Even if you do not walk your dog regularly while home, he or she will easily become bored when left alone for a longer time than usual. A brief walk is a great way to provide the mental stimulation your dog requires.

Caged Critter Boarding

We are able to board your small animals in our own home. Animals we can board include but are not limited to: Rabbits, guinea pigs, ferrets, mice, rats, birds (including poultry), fish, and pet rocks.

The basic rate covers daily feeding, watering and health checks for a single enclosure containing a moderate number of animals. This fee also covers weekly basic cage cleans. Please ask for a quote if your pets require more frequent or thorough cleaning, complicated feeding, supervised play time and so forth.

We may be able to help transport your pets, for an additional fee, depending on cage size and your location.

Your pets are welcome to come with their own housing and we usually have space to accommodate even very large enclosures. Alternatively we have a range of hutches and cages to suit many animals which can be rented with a surcharge of $10 per booking to cover thorough cleaning between boarders.

Dog Walks

Critters Pet Care can walk up to two of your dogs at a time, however if we find it difficult or dangerous to control both dogs together we will walk them individually. Ordinarily we begin and end the walk at your house, and try to take the most interesting and enjoyable route for your dog. We very rarely allow dogs off leash while walking, and never without the owner's consent, outside a designated dog exercise area, or when we for any reason do not feel comfortable doing so.

Puppy visits- or any other service that involves us spending time at or near your house when you are at work, shopping, or home, is priced the same as walks. The key difference between these services and pet-sitting is that you are able to return home if there is an emergency.

We are happy to drive your dogs to a nicer location for their walk, such as to the beach, but additional charges may be involved depending on distance.

We ask that you provide a well fitting and appropriate collar or harness for your dog, an appropriate leash, and if necessary an appropriate muzzle or other equipment. We carry a rope slip leash for use if your own equipment is damaged, missing, or inappropriate, as this is the only single item that will suit the majority of dogs; we prefer not to use it!

We take a very fashionable fanny pack on every walk which contains; poop bags, treats, the spare leash, a small bottle of water and fold up water bowl, and a first aid kit put together with your dog in mind. This also means we have both hands and arms completely free to control your dog/s.
